TAJ series, rated 10uF at a 10V working voltage with a ±20% (M) tolerance and an
ESR of 6 ohms at 100kHz. It is supplied in the compact Case R surface-mount
package (2012-15mm footprint per AVX case coding), which is smaller than the
larger tantalum case sizes and suited to space-constrained power and bulk
decoupling applications. As a genuine Kyocera AVX part it carries strong brand
traceability, and unlike the ceramic (MLCC) parts elsewhere in this document,
tantalum capacitors offer higher capacitance density but require careful attention to
voltage derating in circuit design”
