The Soldron 878D is a professional-grade, ESD-safe 2-in-1 rework station combining a hot air blower and soldering iron, built on a microcontroller-based smart circuit for precise digital temperature control. It uses PID temperature control technology to maintain heating element temperature within 1-2°C of the set point, with a ceramic heating core for rapid heat recovery during continuous use. The hot air blower is a separate, independently replaceable unit (unlike pipe-based stations where the blower sits inside the main station body), with a built-in temperature sensor and automatic cut-off sensor when the iron is placed back on its cradle. Housed in an aluminium body with a 7-segment digital display, rubber grip handle for non-slip use, and MCH heater for extended life — suited for SMD/SMT rework, desoldering fine-pitch ICs, heat shrink tubing, BGA chip work, and general prototyping/repair lab use.
