It’s the powerful IC at the heart of the Arduino Mega and many advanced controller boards, featuring an on-chip 2-cycle multiplier, QTouch library support for capacitive touch, a JTAG interface, and ultra-low power consumption with power-on reset and programmable brown-out detection. Flash memory is rated for 10,000 write/erase cycles, EEPROM for 100,000 cycles. Operating at 16MHz with a 4.5V–5.5V supply, it’s rated for the industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), packaged in the 100-pin TQFP surface-mount format.
